Project description:
The Excellence in Green and Digital Manufacturing project aims at preparing the Advanced Manufacturing sector for the disruptive changes caused by the green and digital twin transitions. EXCEED assumes the synergic and mutual benefitting application of digital and green as powerful leverages to accelerate innovation in Advanced Manufacturing. The project will provide competencies needed in this new environment, developing a joint international and individualized lifelong learning offer, as well as developing and updating curricula for higher Vocational Education and Training.
Main objectives:
- To equip current and future workers in the Advanced Manufacturing sector with the needed competencies to master the disruptive changes caused by the twin green and digital transitions.
- To provide lifelong learning as a way for workers to become or remain employable and keep pace with the skill changes.
- To contribute to “leave no one behind” of the European Green Deal, by focusing on the upskilling and reskilling of low-skilled adults.
Main deliverables:
- Promoting upskilling and reskilling of low-skilled adults and workers at risk of marginalization through a joint internationalized, flexible and individualized Lifelong Learning training offer.
- Strengthening the HIGHER VET (EQF 4 and 5) through design of new curricula and updating of existing ones.
- Adopting joint strategies for Talent Management by the establishment of an International Talent Factory, aware of the fact that talented and skilled individuals have a key role to play in countries’ future prosperity.
- Upskilling and empowerment of VET professionals as key profiles translating innovation in education contexts.
- In 4 years, partners are expected to involve at least 600 learners and an overall number of 26.000 beneficiaries through an extensive multichannel communication strategy.

Descrizione progetto:
Il progetto Excellence in Green and Digital Manufacturing mira a preparare il settore della Manifattura Avanzata per i cambiamenti disruptivi causati dalle transizioni verde e digitale. EXCEED assume l’applicazione sinergica e reciprocamente vantaggiosa del digitale e del verde come leve potenti per accelerare l’innovazione nella Manifattura Avanzata. Il progetto fornirà le competenze necessarie in questo nuovo contesto, sviluppando un’offerta di apprendimento lungo tutto l’arco della vita internazionale e personalizzata, nonché sviluppando e aggiornando i programmi di istruzione e formazione professionale superiore.
Obiettivi principali:
- Dotare i lavoratori attuali e futuri nel settore della Manifattura Avanzata delle competenze necessarie per padroneggiare i cambiamenti disruptivi causati dalle transizioni verde e digitale.
- Fornire l’apprendimento lungo tutto l’arco della vita come modo per i lavoratori di diventare o rimanere occupabili e tenere il passo con i cambiamenti delle competenze.
- Contribuire a “non lasciare nessuno indietro” nel Green Deal europeo, concentrandosi sull’acquisizione e l’aggiornamento delle competenze degli adulti poco qualificati.
Risultati principali:
- Promozione dell’acquisizione e dell’aggiornamento delle competenze degli adulti poco qualificati e dei lavoratori a rischio di marginalizzazione attraverso un’offerta di apprendimento lungo tutto l’arco della vita internazionale, flessibile e personalizzata.
- Rafforzamento dell’istruzione e della formazione professionale superiore (EQF 4 e 5) attraverso la progettazione di nuovi curricula e l’aggiornamento di quelli esistenti.
- Adozione di strategie congiunte per la gestione del talento mediante l’istituzione di una Fabbrica Internazionale dei Talenti, consapevole del fatto che individui talentuosi e competenti svolgono un ruolo chiave nella prosperità futura dei paesi.
- Acquisizione di nuove competenze ed empowerment dei professionisti dell’istruzione e della formazione professionale.
- In 4 anni, ci si aspetta che i partner coinvolgano almeno 600 apprendisti e un numero complessivo di 26.000 beneficiari attraverso una strategia di comunicazione multicanale estesa.
