The EXCEED Skills Exhibition 2026 is the international online contest promoted by the EXCEED Centre of Vocational Excellence, dedicated to students, schools, vocational education and training providers, and universities that want to challenge themselves on the themes of eco-digital transformation in Advanced Manufacturing. The initiative was created to highlight projects developed in response to a challenge, through collaborative work supported by teachers, trainers, and technical tutors.
An international experience shaping innovation
The EXCEED Skills Exhibition is a competition in which groups of young talents challenge themselves in the field of eco-digital transformation. Participants are invited to develop and present their own project, the so-called “masterpiece”, to be shared during the final international online event.
The final event will take place on 16 April 2026, from 14:00 to 17:30 CET.
For the 2026 edition, the selected theme is: Zero Waste Communities: What is the contribution of Advanced Manufacturing?
Within the context of the challenge, the concept of “waste” does not refer only to material scrap, but also includes excessive energy consumption, waste of raw materials and natural resources, process inefficiencies, and malfunctions in plants and machinery. Each group is therefore invited to propose an original, technical, and creative response, consistent with its field of study and with the principles of eco-digital innovation.
Taking part in the EXCEED Skills Exhibition means experiencing a concrete, collaborative, and international learning opportunity. It is a chance to:
- showcase talent, creativity, and teamwork skills
- develop competences in green and digital innovation applied to Advanced Manufacturing
- engage with peers and institutions from other European countries
- expand networks with schools, VET centres, universities, companies, and stakeholders at EU level
- present a project in a high-visibility European showcase
Participation is open to:
- VET schools
